The USA BDU-28/B is an inert, red-painted dummy practice submunition used by the U.S. military during the Vietnam War era. This piece is completely hollow, contain no explosives, and were dropped in clusters for practice. It is in great condition and complete.

Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or drilled in an BATF-approved manner so that they cannot be used as ammunition components for destructive devices, are not considered NFA weapons.
