YOU DO NOT RECEIVE THE OPTIC SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS. You only get the tripod and leather carrying case. Gestell 31 is a standard-issue wooden and metal field tripod utilized by the Wehrmacht. It primarily supported heavy optics such as the S.F.14 trench periscope (Scherenfernrohr), Richtkreis 31 (Rkr 31) aiming circle, and Emfernungsmesser 36 rangefinders. This piece was post war reused by Finland, repainted, and a modern replacement metal attachment point installed. The diameter is still the same as an original untouched german one and has been tested with the device shown in the pictures to confirm this. The leather carry case has some wear to the outside, but the straps are strong and complete.
