Original WW2 German Mg15 Mg34 Double Drum Patronentrommel 34

Description

This is a 75-round, spring-powered double-drum magazine designed specifically for the German MG34 machine gun during WWII. It holds loose rounds in two opposing spirals and requires a specialized top cover feed tray to operate. This piece appears to have been restored and repainted as the markings on the top have been covered up. Some pitting is visible although the new paint has slightly filled the pitting. The leather strap is missing a metal end on the one side. The top piece that locks it into the feed tray sometimes pops loose if you knock it. Function untested sold for display only.
