Original WW2 German MG42 Cleaning Can / Soaking Tube w/ Flash Hider

Description

The mg42 soaking can was designed to hold the recoil booster assembly, which consists of the flash suppressor, recoil booster housing, and recoil booster cone. Gunners used this tube to soak the parts in solvent or petrol to dissolve carbon buildup. This set only comes with what you see in the photos: the soaker tube and flash hider. The soaker tube is marked on top of the lid. There was one possible marking on the flash hider as pointed out in a photo but it is not easy to make out what it says. Very slight surface rust in a few places but otherwise amazing condition.
