No visible markings anywhere however i can guarantee due to this being repainted it was covered up. The likely spot of the markings is the exterior area under the latch. The original panzergrau is underneath a layer or repainted panzergrau paint. Metal exterior and lid. Quite a few light scratches, dents, dings, etc. Shows signs of use and age. Canvas carry sling is intact and in good shape. I can without a doubt guarantee this is an original piece and it is for the mg34 barrels
