WW2 German / Yugo Mg42 Mg53 8mm Barrel Very Good Condition 1x Only

Description

Some surface blems as pictured along with some wear on the finish but very strong rifiling. Each barrel is marked with various different markings and numbers. Yugo manufactured.

With any MG42 you need to verify headspace with the specific bolt, barrel, and type of ammo you are using. Headspace that is too short can result in very dangerous out-of-battery detonations.  8mm MG42 setups require 8mm Mauser pattern bolts.  MG3 or 42/59 7.62 NATO bolt heads will not properly extract 8mm Mauser cartridges while 8mm Mauser pattern bolts will extract both calibers.
