Description
The one drum is marked hqu 43 and is the more rare late war variant with a pressure fitting instead of nut and bolt that holds the top plate to the inside plate. The other drum is marked ddf. The carrier is marked BPR 1941 and bears a waffen eagle acceptance stamp. The drums and carrier have been sandblasted, red oxide primed, and painted panzergrau, but has some slight wear around the moving parts revealing the red oxide primer. The hqu 43 drum’s latch was broke slightly but i bent it so that it could still lock the top plate down as you can see from the photos. The carrier is complete with the felt pads to keep the drums in place. Everything functions as it should.
