Description
Very Rare type ff33 called the ob35. This featured a dial unit for calls through the public telephone network. This piece is all complete. It is in very good shape with only a small faded spot of the bottom of the bakelite. This is untested and sold as is. Besides the one in my personal collection i know of none other that exist in the USA.
W/OB 35 portable telephone of the German Reichsbahn, manufactured by Siemens in 1940.
Before using the telephone, ensure that the selector switch inside the housing is set to the correct network type. The red switch can be set to three connection types.
1. W: Connection to W-line telephones.
2. OB-: Connection to OB-line telephones with call indicator.
3. OB+: Connection to OB-line telephones with end indicator.
