Description
Due to the high altitude of bombers the crew would have to wear and use oxygen masks. The mask is in decent shape and comes complete with the hose, connection port for the oxygen tank and leather straps. The leather straps are complete and undamaged but due to its age are slightly dry and cracking. The mask is marked draeger and on both eye lenses bears the marking byd 1942. The rubber on the mask is slightly dirty, cracking, and stiff but with a glass head it can display very well. The hose is not disintegrating either but is slightly stiff. The one head strap is holding on by a thread but all the other head straps are complete and undamaged. Very rare piece ive only seen one other which is in my collection.
